Bernard
Adell, Editor In Chief, is a Professor and former Dean of the Faculty of Law
at Queen's University. He has extensive experience as an arbitrator and mediator,
and has written on many areas of labour and human rights law. He has recently
given presentations at continuing legal education and arbitration conferences
on the law of reasonable accommodation and on the overlap between the arbitral

Kevin Banks, Articles Editor, is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University and is the Director of the Queen's Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace. He holds an S.J.D. from Harvard Law School (2003), and a B.A. (1986) in economics and an LL.B. (1989) from the University of Toronto. He has served in a number of senior positions within the Public Service of Canada, including Director General, Labour Policy and Workplace Information, Director of Research with the Federal Labour Standards Review Commission, and Director, Inter-American Labour Co-operation. Boris Bohuslawsky,
Managing Editor, has been a writer and editor at Lancaster House since 2000. He studied history and English literature at the University Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction, before earning a graduate degree in English at Queen’s University. Boris attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was awarded the Osler Hoskin and Harcourt prize in labour relations law as well as the Bereskin and Parr prize in intellectual property. His responsibilities at Lancaster House include serving as managing editor of Leading Cases on Labour Arbitration, the Labour Arbitration Yearbook, and the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. In addition, since his call to the Ontario bar in 1998, Boris has continued to practise labour and employment law (in association with Peggy Smith Law Office, Kingston), with particular emphasis on rights disputes in the unionized public and broader public sectors. Brian
Burkett, Associate Editor, is a senior partner in Heenan Blaikie's Toronto
office. Brian concentrates exclusively in the area of management labour
relations and employment law. He is a director of the Canadian Employers Council,
which represents the interests of the Canadian employer community at the ILO in
Geneva, Switzerland and in connection with the Free Trade Area of the Americas
(FTAA) process. He also co-chairs the International Labour Law Conference held

Renée-Claude Drouin, Quebec Editor, is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal, where she teaches both labour law and international labour law. She has written several articles on international framework agreements, codes of conduct, and fundamental labour rights. Her current research projects focus on corporate social responsibility, legal pluralism and restructuring. David Doorey, Articles Editor, is a Professor of Labour and Employment Law in the School of Human Resource Management at York University. He practised labour law in British Columbia and Ontario, including as Canadian legal counsel to the United Steelworkers of America before turning to academic life. David is the academic director of Osgoode Hall Law School's LL.M. Program in Labour and Employment Law, and the Articles Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. In 2010, he was awarded the Morley Gunderson Prize in Industrial Relations by the University of Toronto’s Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources. He is also the author of Doorey's Workplace Law Blog. David is a graduate of programs in law and industrial relations from Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.B., Ph.D.), London School of Economics (L.L.M.), and the University of Toronto (B.A., M.I.R.). Jeffrey
Sack, Q.C., Associate Editor, is a partner in the Toronto law firm of Sack
Goldblatt Mitchell where he is active as counsel in labour law and civil litigation
in the public and private sectors. A Past President of the Canadian Association
of Labour Lawyers, Jeffrey has written and lectured widely on the subject of
