| Simon is an associate with Koskie Minsky in Toronto, where he represents unions. He was a Senior Research Associate with the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions. Prior to that he was a doctoral candidate at York University and practiced law in Toronto. He is a former member of the Executive of the Pension Committee and member of the Securities Sub-Committee of the Ontario Bar Association. Simon has been Adjunct Faculty at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Department of Political Science, York University, Clerk to the Justices of the Court of Appeal of Ontario and researcher for the Law Commission of Canada. He has published and spoken about pension and benefits, corporate governance and the regulation of financial institutions and capital markets. |
