Bill Armstrong has practised labour relations and employment law since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University) in 1977. He is one of the principals of Armstrong Management Lawyers and was one of the founders of Laird Armstrong in 1983. He has represented clients in a wide range of industries before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, human rights tribunals and all levels of courts up to the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to entering law school he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and served as an officer in the Canadian Forces for four years. Appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2000, Bill is recognized by Lexpert as a “most frequently recommended” labour relations and employment law practitioner and has received the highest rating (“AV”) from Martindale—Hubbell. |
