Peter Barnacle practises labour law with The W Law Group in Saskatoon on behalf of trade unions in Saskatchewan. Peter was originally called to the bar in British Columbia and also is a member of the bars in Ontario and Saskatchewan, as well as a solicitor in the United Kingdom. He is active with several international labour organizations and is presently engaged in a legal education and organizing project with the National Organisation of Trade Unions in Uganda, where he is also a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law, Makerere University. He has also been a research associate at the Industrial Relations Centre at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario; has written several books and numerous articles on domestic and international labour-related topics and has been a freelance author in the United Kingdom and Canada. Peter is also Principal Revising Author of the legal text, Employment Law in Canada. |
