Mary Ann Baynton is the director of Mental Health Works, an initiative of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario. She also serves as the Program Director for the new Great-West Life Centre for Mental Health in the Workplace. She has created and delivered training and interventions so that workplaces may better recognize, prevent, manage and accommodate mental health related issues. Her work includes consulting on complex return-to-work or stay-at-work plans where mental health is an issue. Currently Mary Ann is a member of the National Commission on Mental Health's Workplace Committee and the Accessibility for Ontarian's with Disabilities Act, Employment Standards Committee. Mary Ann holds a Masters of Social Work in Social Policy. Her background includes 15 years in the corporate world as a manager and business owner. |
