| | Isabelle Boivin has worked as union counsel at Trudel Nadeau Avocats since 2006. She has also been the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers’ vice-president for Québec since 2008. In 2005 and 2006, she worked for the International Labour Organization in Geneva, more specifically for the Freedom of Association Committee and the Committee of Experts on the application of conventions and recommendations, where she published several documents and articles, including an article in the Labour Relations Review (vol. 145 (2006), no. 3). Isabelle also worked from 2002 to 2005 for the Québec Ombudsman as a delegate with the detention centres team in order to ensure humane conditions for prisoners, and for the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission in 2003. She completed her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) at McGill University (2002-2004). |
