Emily Burke is a labour arbitrator providing dispute resolution services in both the public and private sector. She has extensive experience in all aspects of labour relations and employment law. Initially practicing labour law, she then served as a Vice-Chair of the British Columbia Labour Relations Board for 9 years, and has been arbitrating for over 10 years. Ms. Burke has lectured on Labour Relations in many forums including CLE. She is presently a Director of the Arbitrators Association of British Columbia and on the Joint Committee advising on the Register of Arbitrators under the Labour Relations Code (CAAB). She is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators. Ms. Burke obtained her law degree from Dalhousie Law School in 1981 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1982.
