Jessica Connell acted as legal counsel to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal since October 2007. Jessica advises the Tribunal on legal and policy issues, and represents the Tribunal on judicial reviews of its decisions at all levels of court. Prior to joining the Tribunal, she practised in the areas of labour, employment, human rights and civil litigation at law firms in Ontario and B.C. Jessica obtained her law degree from the University of Toronto in 2001, following which she clerked for the B.C. Supreme Court. She was called to the B.C. Bar in 2002 and the Ontario Bar in 2003.
