MARG CREEN

Marg Creen is the Manager of the Occupational Health and Employee Rehabilitation Unit at The Scarborough Hospital, Toronto. She specialises in assisting employees and employers with one integrated approach to short-term disability, long-term disability, and workers’ compensation claims.

Marg previously worked with a major insurance company as a Disability Consultant and has also had her own consulting company working with clients across the country. She is a speaker, workshop leader and educator who assists employers to develop policies and procedures in this specialty area. Ms. Creen developed and now teaches a Web-based disability course for Humber College and helped to develop a course for McGill University.

She has completed a Masters in Disability Management from the University of Northern British Columbia. In 2001 she was awarded the Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association Award of Excellence for her contribution to occupational health in Ontario and was the recipient, at the First International Conference on Disability Management, Vancouver, of the 2002 National Award of Excellence in Disability Management by NIDMAR (National Institute of Disability Management and Research).
