
| Susan Dawes practises on behalf of unions with Myers Weinberg LLP in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She assists union clients with the interpretation and application of collective agreements, workplace policies, and rights under legislation affecting workers in Manitoba. In addition to conducting grievance and interest arbitrations and proceedings before tribunals such as the Manitoba Labour Board, Susan has appeared before Superior Courts in Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada.
Susan has been a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers since 2001 and is involved each year in organizing and speaking at the Annual Mel Myers Labour Conference. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1999, after receiving her Master and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degrees from the University of Manitoba. |
