David Doorey is a Professor of Labour and Employment Law in the School of Human Resource Management at York University. He practised labour law in British Columbia and Ontario, including as Canadian legal counsel to the United Steelworkers of America before turning to academic life. David is the academic director of Osgoode Hall Law School's LL.M. Program in Labour and Employment Law, and the Articles Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. In 2010, he was awarded the Morley Gunderson Prize in Industrial Relations by the University of Toronto’s Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources. He is also the author of Doorey's Workplace Law Blog. David is a graduate of programs in law and industrial relations from Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.B., Ph.D.), London School of Economics (L.L.M.), and the University of Toronto (B.A., M.I.R.). |
