Mike Dumler is a National Representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). His current assignment is Legislative Coordinator for CUPE in British Columbia. Mike has worked out of CUPE’s Ottawa, Windsor, Victoria, and Nanaimo offices, and he currently works from the BC Regional Office in Burnaby. Mike’s bargaining, organizing, and contract administration experience includes representing workers in the college, university, school board, hospital and municipal sectors, including working with CUPE locals during municipal amalgamations. Over the years, Mike has participated in and presented on labour relations in a number of venues, such as the Conference Board of Canada, Western Cities Municipal Labour Relations Conference and Lancaster House conferences. He is currently a member of the executive and board of the Canadian Centre of Policy Alternatives.
