Kris Farkas is a Manager of Labour Relations at the United Nurses of Alberta. Since Kris joined UNA in 1993, originally as a Labour Relations Officer, she has acted as Union Counsel at arbitrations, labour board hearings, and professional conduct hearings at College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Kris has been active in negotiating collective agreements, both at the provincial table and at small nursing homes. She is currently on the “Joint Committee” between UNA and the Health Boards of Alberta Services which is reshaping long standing labour relations between the parties. |
