Ian
Fellows is a partner in the firm of Green & Chercover. Mr. Fellows and his
firm represent trade unions and employees in all matters relating to workplace
and labour law, and regularly appear before courts, arbitrators, labour boards,
human rights tribunals, and other administrative tribunals. Ian frequently advises trade unions and employees on matters of disability and reasonable accommodation in the workplace. As a law student,
Mr. Fellows was employed in the legal department of the Information and Privacy
Commission (Ontario). He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the University
of Toronto Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994. In addition to
conducting education seminars for trade unions, Mr. Fellows has been a guest speaker
at events hosted by the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) Labour Law Section,
the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, and the Ontario Crown Attorneys' School.
His clients include trade unions from the education, transit, police, construction,
and private sectors, as well as those involved in the entertainment industry.
As an adjunct to his labour law practice, Mr. Fellows also represents trade union
members before the criminal courts and professional regulatory bodies. |
