| Trisha Gain is an associate at McLennan Ross in Calgary where she advises and represents employers primarily in the areas of labour and employment law and occupational health and safety, with an emphasis on the construction industry. Trisha also represents employers with respect to workers compensation, employment standards and human rights issues. Trisha advises and represents employers in all matters arising from and out of collective bargaining and has negotiated several first collective agreements. She also represents employers in all matters before the Alberta Labour Relations Board.
Prior to joining McLennan Ross, Trisha worked with a leading management-side labour and employment firm in Ottawa and, prior to that, at the Employment Insurance Department of Human Resources Development Canada. Trisha received her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Calgary. Trisha was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 and to the Alberta Bar in 2006. She is a frequent speaker on OHS law at firm seminars and private speaking engagements, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers. |
