Gallivan is a senior member of Labour and Employment Law Group at Lawson Lundell
in Vancouver. She has extensive experience representing employers in all facets
of labour relations and employment law. Patricia spent two years as Legal Assistant
to the Chair of the British Columbia Labour Relations Board before entering private
practice. Patricia's practice includes collective agreement negotiations as well
as appearing as counsel on behalf of employers at arbitration and before the Provincial
and Federal Labour Relations Boards, Human Rights Tribunals and the courts. She
regularly advises the firm's corporate and institutional clients on the preventative
aspects of labour and employment law in order to minimize the potential for problems
in these areas. In addition to being an advocate and advising management clients
on labour relations and employment matters, she is a frequent lecturer at client
seminars as well as guest speaker at programs sponsored by such groups as the
Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia. |
