Rod
Germaine is a dispute resolution practitioner who specializes in arbitration and
mediation of labour and commercial disputes. He practiced labour law in the 1970s
and started his adjudication career at that time by chairing human rights tribunals.
He has twice served as a Vice-Chair of the BC Labour Relations Board (full-time
from 1977 to 1982 and part-time from 1994 to 1996). He established a full-time
labour arbitration practice in 1982. From 1985 to 1993, Rod taught law in Singapore and then Hong Kong. He developed the part-time MA in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution offered by the City University of Hong Kong. He established his current practice
based in Vancouver in 1993. |
