| Colin Gibson is a partner with Harris & Company and has practised management-side labour relations and employment law since his call to the BC Bar in 1986. He acts for a wide variety of employers in the private and public sectors. Colin regularly appears before the B.C. Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, arbitration boards, employment standards and human rights tribunals, and the Courts. In addition to his counsel work, Colin represents employers in collective bargaining, sits as the employer's nominee on arbitration boards, and acts as a neutral mediator in employment disputes. Colin is a former Chair of the CBA Labour Law Subsection, and a longstanding member of the Human Resources Management Association. He has written numerous articles on labour relations, arbitration and employment law, and speaks on those subjects at Continuing Legal Education and other seminars.
