Charles
Gordon is a partner with the firm Fiorillo Glavin Gordon where he practices labour
and administrative law on behalf of a wide variety of trade unions. In addition
to regularly arguing cases before the B.C. Labour Relations Board and arbitration
panels, Mr. Gordon has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and
Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also appeared before a
number of other tribunals representing trade unions. Previously, Mr. Gordon was
the in-house counsel for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local
115 and for the B.C. Labour Relations Board. He regularly lectures to various
groups about issues of concern to trade unions. He is a member of the Canadian
Association of Labour Lawyers and is the former Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's
Labour Section. Mr. Gordon went to law school at the University of Toronto and
has a Masters degree from the University of British Columbia. |
