Bruce
Greyell, Q.C., is a partner at Roper Greyell in Vancouver. He acts as advisor and
counsel to management, providing strategic advice and representation to the firm's
clients at all court and tribunal levels. He has been involved as counsel in many
leading edge labour law cases and has spoken and presented papers at client, industry
and association meetings. In addition to his practice as counsel, he is on the
roster of arbitrators approved by the B.C. Ministry of Labour for appointment
under sections 86 and 104 of the Labour Relations Code (B.C.) and has been
appointed to arbitrate and mediate numerous labour or employment related disputes
under the B.C. Commercial Arbitration Act and the Canada Labour Code. In
1995, he was appointed as Industrial Inquiry Commissioner under the Canada
Labour Code to inquire into labour relations and bargaining structure in the
longshoring and grain handling industries at West Coast Ports. Mr. Greyell was
called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1968. |
