ANTHONY GRIFFIN


 

Anthony Griffi n received a B.A. from Queen’s in 1976 and an LL.B. from Dalhousie in 1981. From 1983-84, he was Law Clerk to Chief Justice Evans of the Ontario High Court of Justice. Anthony articled and practised commercial litigation with McMillan Binch in Toronto. In 1988, he became counsel to the Ontario Human Rights Commission. He has taught Human Rights Law at Queen’s Law School, Queen’s School of Industrial Relations and the University of Ottawa Law School, as
well as Public Law and Advocacy at the Bar Admission Course in Toronto for the Law Society of Upper Canada. He regularly appears on behalf of the Ontario Human Rights Commission before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and at all appellate levels, and in judicial review proceedings.
