| Bruce Grist practises labour, employment and human rights law at Fasken Martineau and gives legal advice to employers on all matters related to employment in the private and public sectors, both federal and provincial. Bruce gives proactive advice and provides both training and seminars to clients respecting their rights and responsibilities in employment, labour and human rights matters.
While providing proactive advice to prevent issues from arising, Bruce also acts as counsel in arbitrations, Labour Relations Board hearings, Human Rights Tribunal hearings and has acted as counsel in all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada on labour, employment and human rights matters. Bruce has acted as counsel to employers in approximately 200 arbitrations in both the federal and provincial jurisdictions. He has acted as counsel in arbitrations in Alberta, Manitoba, the Yukon and the NorthWest Territories. Bruce has represented employers in over 100 Labour Relations Board hearings, court cases and human rights hearings.
