Brian A. Grosman, Q.C., B.A., LL.B., LL.M., is Senior and Founding Partner of the Toronto law firm of Grosman, Grosman and Gale LLP, a firm that advises corporate employers and executive employees with regard to employment and labour law. Brian has been practicing in the field of employment law for 30 years. He is the author of nine books and over 100 articles on this subject and on the administration of justice. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Employment Bulletin published by Canada Law Book, which has as its subscribers judges, lawyers and human resource professionals. He has spoken at conferences on employment law in Canada, United States and Europe.
Brian was formerly a Professor of Law at the College of Law of the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, as well as McGill University in Montreal. He is the Founding Chairman of the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan. In addition, he has advised provincial and federal government agencies on matters relating to employment law and its implications. A long term member of the College of Employment and Labour Lawyers of the United States and emeritus member of the American Law Institute, Brian is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. |
