Sylvie Guilbert is a lawyer in the Toronto labour and employment law firm Sherrard Kuzz LLP. Sylvie practises exclusively management-side employment and labour law, and advises clients on all aspects of the practice in both French and English. She has considerable experience in the following areas: Collective Agreement Administration, Collective Bargaining, Employee Relations Programs, Employment Standards, Grievance Arbitration, Human Rights and Equity, Occupational Health and Safety, Responding to Union Organizing and Applications for Certification, Strike/Lock-Out Management and
Workplace Safety and Insurance. Sylvie is a member of the Bar in both Ontario and British Columbia and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Sherrard Kuzz, she was General Counsel with a federal Crown Corporation, a Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa and a lawyer with an Ottawa management-side law firm.
