Tim Hadwen is the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Labour Relations Secretariat, in the Ontario Ministry of Government Services. The Secretariat is responsible for providing strategic analysis and advice concerning Broader Public Sector (BPS) labour relations. Before that, Tim was the Director of the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Government Services, responsible for providing legal advice and representation to the Government of Ontario acting as employer. Previously, Tim was the Director of the Legal Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and, prior to joining government, he was General Counsel to the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, manager of the litigation and membership benefits departments of the Ontario Nurses Association, and in private practice, a partner in the law firm of Cavalluzzo, Hayes, Shilton, McIntyre and Cornish. Tim is co-author of the legal text on Ontario Public Service Employment and Labour Law.
