Hanson is a partner in the Labour Relations and Employment Law Department of Osler,
Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. He represents employers in employment, labour relations,
occupational health and safety, and human rights matters. Jason has represented
a wide variety of corporate and public sector employers before employment and
labour relations tribunals, government agencies and other adjudicators. Jason
advises employers on a wide variety of workplace concerns such as employment standards,
legislative compliance, workers' compensation, employment contracts, group terminations
and wrongful dismissal. Jason also conducts discrimination investigations and
works with employers in developing pro-active employment policies and procedures.
He represents corporate employers and supervisors in health and safety prosecutions
in the Criminal Courts. Jason has extensive experience in advising employers and
boards of directors on all areas of labour and employment law, including corporate
transactions, executive compensation arrangements, change of control agreements,
the obligations of former employees and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
He is certified by the Law Society as a Specialist in Labour Law. Jason was called
to the Ontario Bar in 1982. |
