Charles Harrison is a partner with Fasken Martineau in Vancouver, having joined the Labour, Employment & Human Rights Department as an associate in 1986. He represents employers in a variety of sectors including the forest industry, utilities, municipal government, construction, as well as in federally regulated sectors such as telecommunications, maritime industries, rail, road and air transport. Chuck provides strategic advice to clients, helping them to avoid problems during major projects, restructurings, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. He also acts as counsel in arbitrations, labour board hearings, human rights and other proceedings. Chuck has participated as a speaker in employment and labour law seminars for a variety of organizations including the Human Resource Management Association of British Columbia, the Centre for Labour Management Development, the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Vancouver Board of Trade, the Canadian Institute and Lancaster House. He is a Past-Chair of both the B.C. Labour Section and the National Labour and Employment Section of the Canadian Bar Association. |
