Jeffries is a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti. Daryn's practice involves
the representation of management in all matters relating to labour relations and
employment law, with a particular emphasis on matters relating to the interpretation
and application of the Ontario Labour Relations Act and the Workplace
Safety and Insurance Act. Daryn also performs extensive work on behalf of
employers in the broader public sector, including municipalities, hospitals and
children's aid societies. Daryn attended McGill University for his undergraduate
education and received his LL.B. Degree from York University's Osgoode Hall in
1992. Daryn is a member of both the Ontario Bar Association and the Lawyers' Association
and has presented papers at the Canadian Bar Association annual meeting. From
1993 to 1999, Daryn served as an Associate Editor of the Canadian Labour Relations
Board Reports and Daryn has also written and spoke extensively on many labour
and employment law topics, including matters relating to Bill 136, sexual harassment,
human rights, workplace safety and insurance law and absenteeism in the workplace. |
