Karen Jensen acts for employers in human rights, labour and employment disputes at Norton Rose in Ottawa. Prior to undertaking legal studies, she worked with disabled people. In 1992, Karen graduated with the Gold Medal from the University of Western Ontario Law School. She went on to clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada, and to develop a practice in human rights, labour and employment law. In 2005, she was appointed a full-time member of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, where she mediated and adjudicated numerous human rights disputes in both official languages. Prior to joining Norton Rose in 2010, Karen was the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa where she taught dispute resolution. She holds a Master's degree in Psychology. |
