Brian Johnston, Q.C. is a partner in the Halifax office of Stewart McKelvey. He has practised labour and employment law exclusively since graduation from Dalhousie Law School in 1980. Brian represents employers in court, before federal and provincial Labour Relations Boards, at arbitrations, as spokesperson in collective bargaining and in human rights proceedings. In a wide-ranging practice, he acts as principal legal advisor to employers in the transportation, off-shore oil and gas, manufacturing, health care, construction, retail, financial services and hospitality industries.
