MARYLIN KANEE

Marylin Kanee is the Diversity and Human Rights Advisor at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Diversity and Human Rights office addresses harassment and discrimination complaints, provides training on human rights and related issues, and in 2007 undertook a 50 question census of the Hospital’s 5000 volunteer and paid workforce. Marylin has worked in the field of workplace human rights and equity for 15 years, and was a community college faculty for 10 years teaching social service work. She is a founding member of the Diversity Health Practitioners Network (now Health Equity Council) and is a community activist on international human rights issues.
