Sean Kearney is the Deputy Legal Director with the Ministry of Government Services for the Government of Ontario. He presently manages over twenty lawyers who specialize in labour and employment law. In addition to providing strategic legal advice, Sean also continues to represent the Crown and government ministries in complex labour arbitrations and court actions.

Sean has recently argued leading cases at the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada on principles of natural justice and abuse of process. He regularly appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and other administrative tribunals on a variety of legal matters including the duty of accommodation in the workplace, performance management and health and safety.
