
| | Melissa Kronick has practised with the law firm of CaleyWray since her call to the Ontario Bar in 1989, primarily in the field of labour relations on behalf of trade unions. She became a partner of the firm in 1994. Melissa represents trade unions and associations in proceedings before administrative tribunals, including Labour Boards, Human Rights Tribunals and the Canadian Artists and Producers Professional Relations Tribunal. She also represents trade unions and associations at arbitration, mediation and in the courts, and advises clients on collective bargaining issues and assists in collective agreement negotiations.
Melissa is a member of the Ontario Deputy Minister's Stakeholders Committee on Legal Issues and is a former Chair of the Labour Relations Section of the Canadian Bar Association – Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and served as a Co-Chair of the Association's 1999 Conference. Melissa is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she received a B.A. in 1981 and an LL.B. in 1987.
