
| | Bruce Laughton established the law firm of Laughton & Company in 1993, and represents trade unions in labour relations, administrative law and employee benefits matters. He advises a large number of unions, and acts for them in court proceedings (including injunction proceedings and judicial review applications) and matters before the B.C. Labour Relations Board and Canada Industrial Relations Board. He has appeared as counsel at all court levels up to and including the Supreme Court of Canada. Bruce is the past Chair of the Labour Subsection of the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and served on that Subsection’s Executive for approximately 5 years. He was called to the Bar in 1979. |
