
| | James LeMesurier is a partner in the Atlantic Canada law firm Stewart McKelvey, based in the firm’s Saint John, New Brunswick office. Jamie maintains an active practise devoted advising and representing employers in both the public and private sectors on all aspects of employment and labour relations law, including collective bargaining, collective agreement administration, discipline and dismissal, employment standards, grievance arbitration, human rights, occupational health & safety, and workers compensation.
In 2007-2008, Jamie served as the employer representative on the Independent Review Panel tasked with reviewing the New Brunswick workplace health, safety and compensation system. He has been recognised as a leading practitioner in labour law and employment law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for a number of years. In 1999, he received the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. He is Stewart McKelvey’s New Brunswick representative to the Employment Law Alliance and the Canadian LabourWatch Society (for which he is New Brunswick content advisor) and is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. |
