John Macnamara is Hydro One’s Vice-President of Health, Safety and Environment. He is also currently the Presi-dent of the Business Council on Occupational Health and Safety, a member of the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee to the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, and has acted as chair of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Employers' Prevention Liaison Working Group.

John previously worked for ArcelorMittal as Global Vice-President, Health and Safety based in Luxembourg and was the General Manager, Health Safety and Loss Prevention at its Dofasco facility in Hamilton. He is a past chair of the International Iron and Steel Institute Committee on Safety and Occupational Health.
