Heather MacNaughton is an arbitrator/mediator. From 2000 until July 31, 2010, Heather was the Chair of the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal. She is a lawyer, with both an LL.B. and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before coming to B.C., Heather was the Chair of the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal. Prior to joining the public service, she was a partner in the firm of Lang Michener, where she was part of the firm’s employment law group. Heather has been actively involved for the last 20 years in training new adjudicators through her position as Chair of the Education Committee of the B.C. Council of Administrative Tribunals, and as a member of the Board and Professional Development Committee of the Canadian Council of Administrative Tribunals. She is a sought-after speaker and presenter at many legal education seminars and workshops. |
