
| | Jeanne Meyers is a sole practitioner specializing in the area of labour/employment law, including human rights. Jeanne has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and has also appeared before both the trial and appeal divisions of the Federal Court of Canada. She has also represented clients before numerous administrative tribunals including the Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, arbitration boards and disciplinary panels of professional regulatory bodies.
Jeanne has practised law since 1988 and holds a Master's degree in Labour History. Prior to opening her own office, Jeanne was Executive Director (Legal Services) for the Health Sciences Association. She has been a frequent speaker and panelist at legal conferences in the areas of employment, human rights and privacy law. In addition to a busy employment practice, Jeanne has practised family law on Vancouver Island, as well as in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. In both her family and employment practices she has worked extensively with mediators and promotes alternative dispute resolution in suitable circumstances.
