Mullan is a consultant and adjudicator. He was a Professor of Law at Queen's University
from 1977 to 2003, where, until his retirement, he was the holder of the Osler,
Hoskin and Harcourt Professorship in Constitutional and Administrative Law. He
taught among other subjects Administrative Law, Advanced Constitutional Law, Contracts,
and Remedies, and his principal area of academic expertise has been Administrative
Law. He has published many articles in this field as well as prepared reports
for various governments, agencies, and Law Commissions. He is also the author
of Administrative Law in the Essentials of Canadian Law Series (Toronto:
Irwin Law, 2001) and the CED Administrative Law Title, currently in its
third edition, as well as the now sole editor of the fifth edition of Evans, Janisch,
Mullan and Risk, Administrative Law: Cases, Text, and Materials, published
by Emond Montgomery Publications. From 1983 to 1994, he was editor of the Administrative
Law Reports. He is a member of the NAFTA Chapter 19 Canadian Panel and a part-time
member of the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. He is also a frequent speaker at
continuing legal education seminars. |
