| Elaine Newman is a Toronto arbitrator and mediator in private and public sector matters across the province. She is the former assistant director of the LL.M program in Labour Relations and Employment Law at Osgoode Hall Law School and academic coordinator for Dispute Resolution Education at Atkinson College, York University. After practising as a lawyer in litigation and labour relations, Elaine served as senior counsel, and then as Vice- Chair of Ontario’s Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal. Initially trained as a mediator with the Education
Relations Commission, Elaine’s full-time practice includes mediation in employment, sexual harassment and human rights disputes in both public and private sectors. |
