Patrick Nugent is a partner at Chivers Carpenter in Edmonton where he acts for trade unions and employees before arbitration boards, labour boards and all levels of court. Pat has taught Constitutional Law at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and continues to teach Labour Arbitration in the faculty. Pat has served on the executive of the Labour and Employment and Constitutional Law sections of the Canadian Bar Association and, in addition to organizing talks by others, has presented at many seminars and conferences on a wide variety of topics, including prisoner voting, video surveillance in the workplace and the rules of evidence. |
