Earl Phillips is a partner at McCarthy Tétrault in Vancouver practising in the Labour and Employment Group. Earl regularly appears before federal and provincial tribunals, arbitration boards and the courts of British Columbia representing employers. He is a frequent writer and speaker on various topics including, most recently, labour law and human rights, collective bargaining, the duty to accommodate, privacy, substance abuse in the workplace and whistle-blowing. Earl is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia and of the B.C. Labour and Employment Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1981.
