Michele Pineau has been an active labour arbitrator and mediator since 1994. At the end of 2011, she completed a five-year mandate as Vice-Chair of the Public Service Labour Relations Board and has now returned to a private arbitration and mediation practice. Prior to that, she was Vice-Chair of the Canada Industrial Relations Board for eight years, and was also a union services officer for the Public Service Alliance of Canada. She is a lawyer who has practiced extensively in the areas of employment, labour and administrative law in the private and federal public sectors. Michele is an experienced civil and commercial mediator and ADR trainer.
Michele is a graduate of Carleton University (B.A.) and McGill University (B.C.L.) and holds a French Baccalaureate. She is a chartered arbitrator (c. arb.), mediator (c. med.) and a member of the Ontario Labour Management Arbitrators Association. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 1981. |
