| Philip Ponting, Q.C. is a senior partner in the Calgary office at the law firm McLennan Ross LLP where he acts on behalf of management. He appears as counsel before arbitrators and the Alberta Labour Relations Board, and has extensive experience in negotiating collective agreements. Phil graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1968, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1972. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1973, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1985 by the Government of Canada. He received a C.Arb. designation in 1989. |
