| Andrew Raven is a partner at Raven, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck LLP in Ottawa. Andrew has over thirty years of experience in all aspects of labour relations, human rights and employment law. He appears before numerous labour, employment and human rights tribunals such as the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Public Service Labour Relations Board and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. He routinely acts as an advocate before the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, where he has been appointed amicus curiae in a leading human rights case. Andrew also has experience in representing trade unions, employee organizations and individuals in constitutional litigation, including Charter cases, and in all aspects of wage discrimination and pay equity.
Andrew received a B.A. from Glendon College/York University in 1972, an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1976, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, and the County of Carleton Law Association. |
