Geri Sanson is the principal of Sanson Law Office Professional Corporation, a litigation law boutique and ADR practice specializing in human rights law, labour law, employment law, constitutional law, and administrative law.  Geri is an investigator, mediator and adjudicator who deals with workplace issues including harassment, discrimination and workplace violence. She also provides due diligence advice to companies, unions, non-profit organizations and government institutions dealing with human rights or employment-related matters.

Identified in Lexpert as a leading lawyer in workplace human rights, Geri’s experience includes litigation on behalf of employers, employees, and unions. She has appeared at all levels of the courts and before various administrative tribunals including human rights tribunals and inquests dealing with issues of workplace violence. She previously served as Counsel to the Ontario Human Rights Commission, Senior Litigation Counsel for ARCH, Adjunct Professor (co-teaching Human Rights) at Osgoode Hall, and as a Bar Admission Instructor, teaching Administrative Law. Geri has frequently spoken about and authored papers on topical issues of human rights, labour, employment and administrative law. She is the recipient of the Law Society Medal, an honour accorded for her work in human rights and has been honoured by the Canadian Bar Association as a local hero. Geri is a member of the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal Practice Advisory Committee and an Executive Member of the OBA’s Constitutional, Civil Liberties and Human Rights Law Section.
