Schwartz is currently the Director of the Legal Services Branch of the Ontario
Human Rights Commission. He was counsel in the Constitutional Law Branch of the
Ministry of the Attorney General from 1987 to 2002 and a former lecturer in law
at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He currently teaches an appellate
advocacy course at Queen's University Faculty of Law. A graduate of Osgoode Hall
(LL.B.) and New York University (LL. M.) he is also the author of various articles
on the Charter of Rights, criminal law, and human rights issues. |
