Jo-Ann Seamon is Senior Counsel and Manager of Legal Services at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre. Previously, she practised for many years at the Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario, a legal clinic which specializes in workers’ compensation law. In that position, Jo-Ann provided direct services to clients with a focus on disability and human rights issues, and supervised the student legal clinic, Advocates for Injured Workers. She has also practised union-side labour law. Jo-Ann has a continuing interest in administrative justice issues as they affect low income users of the justice system. She is presently a member of the Administrative Justice Working Group, a coalition of academics and practitioners seeking to strengthen Ontario’s administrative justice system.
