JAY SPARK


 

Jay Spark is a partner at and Principal Consultant of Spark Consulting Services - Consensus at Work. He has over 28 years of professional experience as a workplace mediator, facilitator, negotiator, trainer, manager and consultant. Jay co-founded Spark Consulting Services in 1995. Since then, he has provided assistance in facilitation, mediation, conflict resolution and harassment investigations to a range of clients in the energy, manufacturing, education, health care, service, government and not-for-profit sectors.

An advocate of union-management cooperation, Jay has extensive experience in facilitating collective bargaining and designing dispute resolution processes. He has successfully mediated workplace disputes in union and non-union environments, and designed training programs to enhance the negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills of employer and union representatives. Jay was a member of the Government of Alberta’s roster of Designated Mediators from 2003 to 2007. Jay is a graduate of the University of Alberta, holding a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Business Administration.
