Meg Steele has worked as a lawyer for the City of Ottawa since her call to the bar in February 2002. Although she began her career doing corporate and commercial work, she soon specialized in labour arbitrations, human rights matters and employment law. Her practice also includes providing advice on collective bargaining, workplace safety and accessibility issues. She provides strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship. She is an avid supporter of the Great Canadian Theatre Company’s annual Lawyer Play. Meg studied English and Political Science at Mount Allison University and graduated with an honours B.A. in 1996. She graduated from McGill University’s National Program (BCL/LL.B.) in 2000.
